triangle bed in summer

This bed has been used to plant a miscellany of different plants, with no particular plan involved.  The edibles (for humans) include jostaberry – which has made some super jam, blackcurrant, garlic, cherry, quince Japonica (chaenomeles) and plenty of culinary herbs.  And for the insects there is a wonderful array of flowers which is looking particularly good right now.  There have been so many butterflies this week – more than I have ever seen before!  However they fly so quickly I couldn’t capture them on camera, but here are a few pictures of the bed.
